Dayton Brick Shop began as a project rooted in a love for creativity and community. It all started with our founder, Nick O'Donnell, a lifelong Lego enthusiast. His hobby evolved into a vision to create a space where people of all ages could share in the joy and creativity that Lego bricks inspire.

In 2020, this vision started to take shape with his long time friend, Jamie Cox. With the support of their family & friends, they began laying the groundwork for what would become Dayton Brick Shop.

Our goal was simple yet ambitious: to establish a place for Lego enthusiasts in the heart of Dayton, where builders of all ages and skill levels could come together, find inspiration, and access a wide range of Lego products.

After months of planning, sourcing products, and scouting for a location, Dayton Brick Shop opened its doors in October of 2020.

As the shop outgrew itself in 2021, we started the search for a larger location that we moved into May 2022. This shop's interior was designed to reflect the imaginative spirit of Lego, featuring colorful displays, dedicated Community Room, and a welcoming inclusive atmosphere that encourages exploration and creativity.

From day one, we aimed to offer more than just a retail experience. Our store hosts building competitions, fundraisers, kids club, summer camps and community events, fostering a sense of camaraderie and shared passion among Lego fans.

As we continue to grow, our commitment remains the same: to be a cornerstone of the Dayton community, where creativity and imagination can flourish. Whether you're a seasoned builder or discovering the magic of Lego for the first time, Dayton Brick Shop is here to inspire and support your journey.
